STEPS
- CLEAN: Use rubbing alcohol or warm soapy water to clean the surface.
- TAPE: Use masking tape to temporarily position the decal.
- MEASURE: Use a line of text on the decal to level it.
- PEEL: Peel and cut off the bottom half of the backing.
- APPLY: Use a squeegee to apply the decal, starting on one side and working your way in.
- REMOVE TAPE: Gently remove the masking tape.
- PEEL MORE: Peel off the top half of the backing.
TIPS
- For best results, apply decals in temperatures between 50°F and 90°F.
- Avoid placing the decal all at once, as this can cause air bubbles.
- Plan the placement of the decal so it’s aesthetically pleasing.
- Consider using the “rule of thirds” to ensure the decal is proportionate to the surface.
- Use a dry erase marker or masking tape to help position the decal.
